We use different ways for working our candles and as we already said all of them are completely made in front of the people that visit us in the shop.
The main process for making our candles it’s to deep a plain piece of clear paraffin in a machine where we keep color wax at 75 degrees (centigrade). Basically we build it up the candle by layers, in fact for fixing the hot colored wax we use cold water. The candle is made by 30 layers more or less and as soon as it is ready we carve it using a simple cutter. In this way we discover all the colors inside and this is possible because the candle is still warm.
The final step it’s to glaze the candle with a natural lacquer and this is the reason because some of the candles are so shining. We do it because in this way the candle get washable with cold water useful when there is some dust on it. Anyway if some one wants to burn it, the candle melts normally as a common candle.
